Our Values

• Inclusivity - as a rejection to hierarchical and colonist structures, we work within a horizontal leadership framework. Regardless of role, all members are involved in strategy and decision making and we ensure that the majority of the team has lived experience of the hostile border regime.

• Solidarity - we stand with those who are directly affected by border hostility and violence. We ensure those affected are provided a platform to share their experiences..

• Bear witness to and resist the impact of hostile border regimes by exposing perpetrators and speaking truth to power.

• Resistance – woven through our work is the act of resistance, learning from and examining ways in which those directly affected have resisted systemic harms, working together to protect and develop ways to ensure that the resistance shown by migrants subjected to hostile border regimes determine our practices. 

• Dignity and respect - provision of trauma informed and non-extractive casework in order to accurately and ethically advocate for change
