Central to our work, is ensuring that survivors of these violations have direct access to the act of bearing witness, through our reporting system. That refugees, asylum seekers and migrants should have ownership over if, how and when they choose to report this mistreatment, and the consequences of it.
Here we present some of the short and long term benefits of offering this service to those directly effected. The inner circle represents intended immediate impact. The outer circle represents how, an individuals decision to bear witness becomes part of the wider, collective campaign for justice and accountability.
